Apple Roses

Ingredients
1 sheet Puff Pastry 2-3 Apples, peeled and thinly sliced (I use Granny Smith or Gala apples) 3 tablespoon strawberry jam (or sugar and cinnamon) 1 egg for brushing Icing sugar for dusting
Method

Preheat oven to 180°C. Cut the pastry sheet into strips 5 cm wide. Spread some jam over stripes.

Place the apple slices along the edge of the strips.

Roll up. Place on prepared tray, brush with beaten egg and bake until golden. (For better rose shape you can use a muffin tray.) Dust with icing sugar.
